- If you have a slide with both pictures and text, it's best to have pictures on the left and text on the right.
- Surprise your audience. (e.g. Steve Jobs took a Mac Air out of an envelope to show his audience how light and thin it was.)
- If presenting with a flip chart:
- Ensure the audience can see the flip chart
- Face the audience while you write
- Write notes in pencil to yourself to remind yourself of key points. (The audience will not be able to see your pencil notes.)
- Enlarge your writing so it's visible
- Use blue/black, and red to highlight
- If there is something you really want to emphasise, you can tear the page out and stick it on the wall.
